CA Lightning McQueen, 2yo Gelding
CA Lightning McQueen, aka Mac, is a coming 2yo gelding out of Clan Alpine, NV. He was born in holding in July of 2024, and was purchased from the BLM in May 2026. He is one of my prospects for the 2026 Branded Bonanza Missouri, so will have extensive training, as well as show experience, prior to leaving for his new home. His training will include w/t at shoulder, pivots (hind & forequarters), sidepassing, lunging, standing tied, loading in a trailer/backing out, ponying from another horse, walking out on trails, showmanship experience, and standing for saddling. He currently stands around 13.2hh, and is estimated to mature around 14.2hh. He will be up to date on all cares, including vaccinations, coggins, farrier work, deworming, and dental work/chiropractic, if needed. He is a very in-your-pocket type of guy, and naturally level headed, so would make a great first mustang or project horse for a youth! He can be picked up from the National Equestrian Center in Missouri on October 17 or 18, or from my facility in Blanchardville, Wisconsin, anytime after the 18th. He is still shedding his winter coat and needs to be dewormed (waiting on fecal egg count results) so doesn’t look great right now, but he is gonna be stunning when he sheds out 🤩
