Hrothgar’s Hero (Beowulf)

Beowulf is a one of a kind gelding!!

He is one of the most chill/laid back horses EVER!
(And affectionately called Potato currently XD)

So far Beowulf can:

IN HAND:

-be easily caught
-lead W/T
-back up
-side pass
-head around and down
-hindquarter yield
-should yield
-ground tie
-hard tie
-load
-cross obstacles
-be fly sprayed
-picks up all hooves
And more!

UNDER SADDLE:
-W/T/L
-back
-Sidepass
-cross obstacles
-be ridden by beginners (with supervision)
-head around
-hindquarter yield
-beginning of a spin
-be stood up on
-stop without reins
-be ridden in a halter
-be ridden bareback w/t/l
-be taken off property and acts the same
-trail rides
And more!

Things he is learning currently:
-wearing/riding in a bit
-spins
-throwing a rope off of him
– carrying a flag
-dragging something
-going through a gate
-laying down
And more!

Some of his accomplishments!

-4th place halter class at fair
-multiple off property trips
-ridden by other riders
-gives pony rides
-been stalled
-ridden in parade (3 miles-on ride 18)
-behaves the same off property
And more!

Beowulf is going to be a trail horse extraordinaire, or with a few more rides under saddle could easily be a beginners horse!!
